Planning your wedding day
Planning your wedding is one of the most exciting times. Whether you want a traditional day with no expense spared or a simple gathering with close friends and family our experienced team will help you along the way.
If you’ve not yet set the date it would be advisable to check availability first although don’t panic we’ve planned weddings in as little as 12 weeks before so anything is possible! Don’t forget we are able to host weddings during the week and on Sundays. You will also need to check your chosen date with Mansfield Registry Office and depending on which package you chose, available times. Tel: 0300 500 8080
Your wedding package
We have 3 main packages available at the moment, all are based on 50 day guests and 100 evening but can be adapted to suit your numbers. If you are wanting something slightly different then please do speak to us, no two weddings are the same and it’s important that you put your own style on your special day.

Our Venue
Forever Green is a unique wedding venue for your special day with its fine views into the surrounding forest giving you the feeling that the venue and the forest are merged as one. At Forever Green, it’s not only the venue that makes your day special but the personal attention that we give to the pre-planning and running of your wedding on the day. With three rooms to choose from, we can cater for up to 100 guests for a wedding breakfast and 130 for an evening reception. We are also licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows with up to 80 guests. A marquee is also available on request for larger numbers.
We are also exploring how we can host ceremonies outdoors. Although we have lost of space we need to ensure you and your guests are safe, the idea of being at one with nature is fabulous but no-one wants to be up to their knees in mud!

Celebrant Weddings
At Forever Green we also recognise that some couples want to break away from tradition and for these such occasions we work with celebrants to create bespoke packages.
Religious and Civil Ceremonies are bound by regulations controlling what can be said or done and where the ceremony can take place. The ceremonies often follow a prescribed script, allowing no religious or spiritual content or creativity. With a Celebrant there are no rules or restrictions on the content of your ceremony, which is perfect for those that want a more personal ceremony or wanting to renew your wedding vows.
This also allows you to have your ceremony outdoors if you wish.

Our Rooms
Forever Green has three beautiful wedding rooms that are all available to use as part of your special day as well as the outside space in our woodland park.
Our ground floor is transformed into your ceremony room. With a beautiful view of the surrounding woodland your ceremony will take place in front of the large windows giving you a feeling of space and tranquillity. Reception drinks will then be served outside on the terrace.
Wedding breakfasts are hosted upstairs in our Forest Suite which has it’s own bar, sound system and is suitable for up to 100 guests.
Evening receptions are on our ground floor with ample space for a DJ or band, photobooth, donut ladder, balloon arches…….this is your blank canvas to create the perfect party zone.

Catering for you and your guests is one of the most important parts of your special day, after the ceremony of course! In a recent survey catering and entertainment were the two main elements that wedding guests remember long in to the future, so it’s important to get this right. Here at Forever Green you are in the safe hands of our Head Chef, John Thornton who has over 30 years of banqueting and corporate entertaining experience. All our packages include catering but can be tweaked to suit your requirements and accommodate any specific diets or allergies. We can also put together bespoke options if you are thinking about a theme for your celebration, in the past we’ve hosted Mexican, Caribbean and vegan receptions.

A great deal of maintenance work and landscaping has been carried out at Forever Green over the past 18 months to enhance our lovely venue and there’s still more to come. Regular updates are featured on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
