Our Rooms
Forever Green has three beautiful wedding rooms that are all available to use as part of your special day as well as the outside space in our woodland park.
Our ground floor is transformed into your ceremony room. With a beautiful view of the surrounding woodland your ceremony will take place in front of the large windows giving you a feeling of space and tranquillity. Reception drinks will then be served outside on the terrace.
Wedding breakfasts are hosted upstairs in our Forest Suite which has it’s own bar, sound system and is suitable for up to 100 guests.
Evening receptions are on our ground floor with ample space for a DJ or band, photobooth, donut ladder, balloon arches…….this is your blank canvas to create the perfect party zone.
Civil Ceremonies
Your civil ceremony will take place in The Woodland Suite with the trees offering a fabulous backdrop. We are licensed to hold Civil Marriage Ceremonies and the room can be set up to suite your requirements with a:
- Ceremony Table
- Chairs with covers and sashes
Currently 70 wedding guests can be accommodated in this stunning room which has been designed with a fresh and natural look that compliments its woodland surroundings.
At Forever Green, we can accommodate the following number of guests:
- Up 70 guests for a civil ceremony
- Up 100 guests for a wedding breakfast
- Up 150 guests for an evening reception
Renewal of Vows
As well as offering Civil Marriage Ceremonies, we can also hold Renewal of Vows ceremonies at Forever Green.
With its floor to ceiling windows through which the trees tower above you, you are connected to the tranquillity of the surrounding landscape, making the venue a fantastic backdrop for such a special occasion.
You will have exclusive use of the venue for your special day as well as the grounds of Ransom Wood for all your photos.
The Reception
The Woodland Suite is available for reception drinks before your wedding breakfast and can be used as part of the evening reception – it’s a great place for a dance floor and for a band to be located. It is a refreshing open space with floor to ceiling windows through which the trees tower above you.
Your Wedding Breakfast takes place in The Forest Suite. This has views onto the tree canopy and can seat up to 100 guests. Its fresh and natural designs will delight guests as they enjoy great food and drink prepared by our in house catering team.
With the 2 areas combined, there is room for 180 people for an evening reception. If it’s a fine day, then there is an outdoor terrace for reception drinks as well as all the woodland space for your photos. We also have space for a marquee adjacent to the building.
