Charity Gala Nights
Are you involved in a Charity and looking at ways in which to raise funds? Well why not organise a charity gala night? At Forever Green we understand the importance charities play in the community and therefore we have put together the following package:
- The hire of Forever Green for your event with no venue hire fee
- A drink on arrival for your guests
- Use of our Forest Suite function room with 12 tables of 8 for a 3 course meal
- A disco with DJ on our ground floor until midnight
- Cost per ticket £32
How it works:
Select an available Friday or Saturday in January, February, March or a Friday night throughout the rest of the year.
Set your ticket price. Our cost is £32, you can then charge what you feel is appropriate and of course all that extra money goes straight towards your fundraising target. So if you decide to charge £40 per ticket, £8 of that goes to your charity.
Sell your tickets. It’s often easier to sell them as a table and most people will know 3 couples they can invite along.
Decide on your theme. We provide all linen cloths and then you have a blank canvass to create whatever table decorations or décor you wish. Your charity may have banners or leaflets so don’t forget to put them on display to remind people of the important cause.
Entertain and gain. Think about adding in a couple of quick and easy games which require a small donation to take part. If every guest takes part in the ‘heads or tails’ game and donates £2 each, that’s another £200 towards your target. You may even want to organise a raffle or an auction but make sure this is done in a quick and fun way. No-one wants to sit at a table for an hour whilst numbers are being called out……unless it’s for Bingo of course!
Cocktails and Conga. Time to hit the dancefloor with our fabulous house DJ and why not think about creating a signature cocktail for the evening, 50p from every one will go towards your charity.
Capture the moment. Don’t forget to take lots of photos to promote the work you do and the fun you have!
