Landscape Project

We hope you are all keeping safe and well during this tough time and we look forward to opening our doors to welcome you back. Just before we closed in March the terrace area at Forever Green undertook a fabulous transformation. Regular visitors will know that the wooden posts that have been in place for over 15 years were slowly starting to rot and despite best efforts by our resourceful estates team it soon became clear that many were beyond repair. So after looking at several different options and keen to maintain the natural feel and landscape, new plans were drawn up and agreed. Rick Goodwin the very talented wood sculpture artist and his team have now replaced the rotten wall with oak sleepers, incorporating steps up to the bird feeders and space for planting at the entrance. There is still more work to be done when it is safe to do so, including lighting, carvings and seating. We will keep you updated and in the meantime here is a peek…..
